RECAP: SharePoint 2010 + Office 2010 Demonstration

The largest Concurrency event was held on March 4, 2010 and with over 170 guests registered a larger location was needed. The Crown Plaza Hotel in Wauwatosa was settled on in order to host the event SharePoint 2010 + Office 2010 Demonstration. Live demonstrations of SharePoint 2010 and Office 2010 where shown throughout the event. Guest were able to see the Business Productivity platform in action while applied to real-life business situations:
  • SharePoint Server 2010 and Office 2010
  • Social Networking and Expert Search
  • Unified Communications
  • Self-service Business Intelligence
  • Content Creation and Management
Each of these demonstrations walked through the new capabilities of PerformancePoint Services, Excel Services and integration with ECM, Social, and Search with different scenarios. Guests were able to experience the new Microsoft Office 2010 along with the Business Intelligence capabilities that are apart of SharePoint 2010.
